Course Objectives and Outcomes

After completing this course

  • Students will understand the relationship between food, nutrition and health.
  • Students will be able describe the digestion, absorption and function of various nutrients and list their sources
  • Students will be able to understand the nutritional requirement of each nutrients and health effects of the deficiency or excess of each nutrients in the diet.
